Appley Farm Cottages are let subject to the following booking conditions.  Please call 01983 616841 (07845 932500 Mobile) or to check availability and reserve an option before completing and returning a copy of this booking form with a deposit of 1/3 of the total holiday price (Cheques made payable to K.A.Yaxley).  We will confirm the booking and the balance will be due 6 weeks before the date of arrival.  Bookings made within 6 weeks of commencement must be paid in full. Please consider taking out holiday insurance against cancellation etc (see conditions 2 & 3).

Booking Conditions

  1. Booking A booking will be regarded as firm when the booking form and deposit has been received and written confirmation issued.
  2. Outstanding balance Once a booking has been confirmed, the hirer becomes liable for the full holiday cost, with the balance outstanding being due at least six weeks before the arrival date.  After full payment has been received a map and final details for key collection etc. will be forwarded.
  3. Cancellation If the booking is cancelled, the balance is still payable on the due date.  It is important therefore that we are informed as soon as possible so that every effort can be made to relet the holiday.  If successful, this will allow a refund of the amount paid less the deposit.
  4. Limitation The cottage is to be used for the purpose of a holiday only, for the period indicated.
  5. Arrival and departure Check in is after 4 pm.  Check out is no later than 10 am on the day of departure.  Please remember to leave the keys.
  6. Car parking You must park in the allocated space(s).  Cars are parked at the owner's risk.
  7. Smoking The cottages are non-smoking accommodation.
  8. Dogs and pets Dogs and pets are not allowed in the accommodation.
  9. Rubbish Rubbish must be bagged and placed in the dustbin provided.
  10. Clean and tidy The cottage, garden, furnishings, equipment and utensils must be left clean and tidy.
  11. Loss or damage On your arrival, all items listed in the inventory in the cottage information folder are present and in good condition.  Any items damaged, broken or lost during your stay must be reported and paid for on your departure.  We reserve the right to charge for any additional cleaning expenses.
  12. Hirer's property The owners do not accept any liability for loss of, or damage to, personal effects, baggage or any other item belonging to or in possession of the hirer or any member of the hirer's party.
  13. Public liability Although the property is covered by public liability insurance, we cannot be held responsible for any injuries or loss beyond our reasonable control.
  14. Right of entry The owners reserve the right to enter the cottage at any reasonable time for purposes of inspection or to carry out necessary repairs or maintenance.
  15. Breach of booking conditions We reserve the right to terminate your holiday without compensation if: (a) The booking conditions are not complied with. (b) At any time more persons are accommodated than the maximum number agreed for the premises booked. (c) Any activity is undertaken which may cause unreasonable damage, noise or disturbance.
  16. Unforeseen circumstances In the unlikely event of your cottage being unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we will endeavour to find similar alternative accommodation or give a complete refund.  No further liability will be accepted.
  17. Complaints In the unlikely event of dissatisfaction with your accommodation please bring the matter to our attention immediately so that we can resolve any problem.  We cannot deal with complaints after your holiday.
